Kristen Bell: Pretty Chic

Kristen Bell...ah, my favorite star of the short-lived, smart series "Veronica Mars" and voice of the witty Gossip Girl, how far she's come since those days. She is currently the leading woman of the new comedy, "House of Lies, which I hope will last because it seems very promising.

Kristen, along with stars such as Julianne Hough, Damien Fahey and Cody Simpson, attended the launch of "Teens for Jeans", a campaign hosted by DoSomething.org and Aeropostale. I am in love with the loose floral blouse Kristen wore - it is so simple yet so feminine and I think the pushed-back hair gave the whole outfit a fresh look.

Top: The loose floral blouse Kristen's wearing is so elegant and laid-back, like something you'd wear on a weekend while going out to shop or eat. It was so hard to find something close to what she's wearing but this gorgeous blue Tie Front Blouson Top by Warehouse sold at Asos ($44.75) almost gives that same relaxed, chic look that Kristen's blouse does.

Bottom: I love that she paired the top with a more edgy look on the bottom with leather pants. It doesn't necessary give the whole relaxed-innocent look but also has a touch of edgy. Try these Black Faux Leather Leggings at LeggingsQueen ($22) or you can always wear a pair of regular black jeans like the Twill Zipper Skinny jeans from Alloy ($20) - and it has zipper pockets, too! How cute!

Shoes: Kristen wore the Brian Atwood "Kasha" pumps from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. They're a pair of killer 5-inch spiked, velour pumps that have been worn by many other celebrities like Blake Lively, Megan Fox and Demi Moore. I, personally, am not a fan of velour shoes. I think wearing black with sleek patent pumps will never go out of style because both are synthetic. Velour and suede, on the other hand, should be worn with less synthetic, "shiny" clothing. These McTague Pumps by Call It Spring sold at JCPenny (for only $10!) will sure be eye-catching. I also suggest peep-toe pumps because they give add that "sexy" feel along the bottoms.

Accessories: Kristen made a good choice with the studded clutch to pair with her outfit. I'm not sure where her gorgeous clutch is from but I found a similar studded clutch, called the Morgan Clutch by Jessica Simpson ($58). This clutch is so unique because of the layered ruffles and is designed like a wallet with the card slots. I say it's pretty convenient if you don't want to carry too much things at once and want to be organized!
I'm a huge fan when it comes to vintage-inspired jewelry so you bet I LOVE the gold coins necklace she is wearing! You can easily find something very similar at Urban Outfitters, Free People and Anthropologie or choose handcrafted ones from very talented designers on Etsy, which I highly suggest doing.
